What resources are available to schools?
The STELR modules are based around different STELR equipment packs. Purpose-built equipment allows students to undertake both guided and open ended research. The equipment has been designed and developed in Australia specifically for STELR and is robust, simple and easy to use.
To see a full list of equipment packs and prices, click on the corresponding order form on the STELR Equipment pack details page.
Curriculum resources are provided for each of the STELR modules in a number of formats:
- A USB is available for purchase ($10). It includes digital copies of the students booklet and teacher guide in both Word and pdf formats. Teachers can adapt the materials for the curriculum they select to suit their students. A number of PowerPoint presentations and other useful resources are included.
- Full-colour hard copies of the student booklet and the accompanying teacher guide for the STELR Renewable Energy module are available for purchase. Many schools choose to include the STELR Renewable Energy student booklet on the students' book list each year.
- iSTELR provides the STELR resources free of charge via an e-learning platform powered by Stile.
The STELR website also provides a range of additional information for students and teachers, including additional subject resources, detailed information on how to use the STELR equipment, career profiles, and outlines of all the STELR modules.
