Astronauts are coming

In May, we reported on the forthcoming International Astronautical Congress coming to Adelaide in September. ATSE and the Sir Ross and Sir Keith Smith Fund have sponsored SA teachers to attend.

STELR will be presenting teacher workshops on the evening of 25 and 26 September as part of the teacher program running concurrently with the congress.

Teachers and students in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with an astronaut as part of the Astronaut Stories Australia series of events being run by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
