Power engineer, Jarman Stephens, was an Australian Power Institute (API) Bursary holder in 2014. During the year he visited schools who were undertaking the STELR API Solar car challenge to provide engineering advice and assist students to build their cars. He also talked to them about engineering as a career from a personal perspective. Jarman's experience with the schools resulted in him approaching STELR this year with an offer of further voluntary support for the program. As a result, he and his friend Thomas Cotter have produced an instructional video on how to construct a solar car, which we are very pleased to publish for you here. It can also be accessed via the STELR website at the Solar Car Challenge or Equipment Packs tab.
The STELR team wishes to acknowledge and thank Thomas Cotter and Jarman Stephens for the generous donations of their time to make this video.
