Lab technicians preview STELR Sustainable Housing equipment

Last week, STELR Program Manager, Pennie Stoyles and ATSE Executive Manager of Education, Peter Pentland demonstrated the new STELR Sustainable Housing resources to Laboratory Technicians at LABSTAV. The conference, run by the Science Teachers' Association of Victoria, provided the first opportunity for Lab Technicians to engage with the module, as the student and teacher kits were only delivered to our offices in May. The Sustainable Housing curriculum resources, aimed at Year 9 of the Australian Curriculum, are currently being developed in conjunction with our partner universities, Charles Darwin University, Southern Cross University and the University of Wollongong. The should be available by the end of 2015. You can view the Sustainable Housing equipment details on our website and inquiries can be directed to Peter Pentland.
